“In the Transport and Traffic Committee of AMF, was decided to improve cooperation and dialogue to solve transport problems using a human-centered approach,” Mohammad Khodadai made the remarks in the closing ceremony of The Fifth Executive Board Meeting of AMF.
He also asserted that, “increasing the Asian economic relations was emphasized during the sessions of the Fifth Executive Board Meeting of AMF and in this regard it was decided to form a special committee on facilitating investment opportunities.”
“In the framework of AMF, it was also proposed to form a committee to promote tourism industry,” added Khodadadi.
Khodadadi continued numerating other major outcomes of the fifth Executive Board Meeting of AMF including the implementation of training sessions for university students, holding of meetings for exchange of experience between government officials and local authorities, and supporting Tehran Mayor’s initiative for training young people as young mayors and young Asian managers.
The Fifth Executive Board Meeting of AMF was held from 29th August to 1st September 2015 in the cities of Tehran and Qazvin, Iran during which three technical parallel sessions were conducted simultaneously including Traffic and Transportation Committee of Asian Cities, Culture and Economy of Urban Tourism in Asian Cities, and Cultural Committee of UCLG-MEWA.
